Bastrop wins 9 - 6

Noon update: Bastrop played Chelo in the winner's bracket and took the win with 9 - 6. Good match to watch. The noon rounds are about to start and some good matches are lined up. Al Mason is playing this round -- but late on his table. There is a 10 minute window for him to show...He's in the winner's bracket, so if he is not able to make it, he'll still be in the tournament. More to come...

Al is a great player, that's for sure. In fact, they all are.

In fact, you are, too!

I read that Al had an small fender bender on the way to the tourney and was forced to forfeit.

@laura: Ugh. I heard something like that, but wasn't positive. That's horrible and I hope that he's ok. BTW: I wish you were here to go to this with me. We'd have the best time and you'd see lots of familiar faces. 128 players in the Men's division and 28 in the womens. UNBELIEVABLE PLAY...

@whall: You are right about all of them being great players. This event is really incredible and I've learned a ton out of this and met some really awesome players. I'm lucky.
