It's been awhile
It's been a long time since I've posted and my apologies for being disconnected. I plan to start posting on a more regular basis starting in February of 2005.
Hey Jen -- Where you at?! I'm not at NI anymore, and it looks like you aren't either. Give me a buzz at platkat at yahoo dot com before I leave for San Jose! :-)
Hey Jen, I'm also trying to find you! We're having our infamous Tamales par-thay and I couldn't find you to invite you. I know you haven't posted since January, but I'm hoping you'll get this this week and drop me a line before saturday. You know my address... daniel dot domene at that place where I work ;)
Jen, that's very weird. I was searching for a different Jen from college and your name last name came into my head. When I saw the NI connection, I thought, "Hey! I know that girl." Meanwhile, I'm back in Austin. What's up Jen?

Sinking the Money Ball: "To give yourself the best chance to make it, you have to want it. You have to expect it. You have to believe it." - Tom Simpson, BCA Master Instructor.
Hmmm, my true passions....
I have a strong passion for games on the felt, billards and poker. It's the mental part of both that challenges me (no matter how much I play them). *smiles*
There's days that I stare at the pool table and see a pool table, balls arranged in a set pattern, and am confident that my cue is a perfectly straight stick that is on auto pilot. Other times I look at the table and see an ocean with pebbles everywhere, and swear that I see little gleaming fish that are moving those pebbles for me. My cue feels like an ill-behaved eel, and it takes considerable effort on my part just to have any sort of control.
